Center for Immigration Studies
The Center for Immigration Studies is an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit research organization devoted to research and policy analysis of the economic, social, demographic, fiscal, and other impacts of immigration on the United States. The Center is animated by a pro-immigrant, low-immigration vision which seeks fewer immigrants but a warmer welcome for those admitted.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services is a federal agency within the Department of Health and Human Services. Programs for which CMS is responsible include Medicare, Medicaid, and the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP).

Families USA
Families USA is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to the achievement of high-quality, affordable health and long-term care for all Americans. Working at the national, state and community levels, Families USA produces health policy reports describing the problems facing health care consumers, with a focus on underserved populations, including immigrants.

Federation for American Immigration Reform
The Federation for American Immigration Reform is a national, nonprofit, public-interest, membership organization that seeks to improve border security, stop illegal immigration, and promote immigration levels consistent with the national interest.

Health Resources and Services Administration
The Health Resources and Services Administration provides national leadership, program resources and services needed to improve access to culturally competent, quality health care. HRSA has many resources on minority health and cultural competence in health care.

Kaiser Family Foundation
The Kaiser Family Foundation is a nonprofit, private operating foundation focusing on the major health care issues facing the nation. The Foundation's Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured (KCMU) provides information and analysis on health care coverage and access for the low-income populations, with a special focus on Medicaid's role and coverage of the uninsured.

Migration Policy Institute
The Migration Policy Institute (MPI) is an independent organization dedicated to the study of the movement of people worldwide. MPI provides analysis, development, and evaluation of migration and refugee policies at the local, national, and international levels.

National Alliance for Hispanic Health
The National Alliance for Hispanic Health is a network of health and human service providers servicing Hispanic consumers throughout the United States.

National Asian Women’s Health Organization
The National Asian Women's Health Organization works to raise awareness about the health needs of Asian Americans through research and education. Its mission is to achieve health equity for Asian women and families.

National Conference of State Legislatures
The National Conference of State Legislatues provides research and technical assistance to state legislators across the country. NCSL's Immigrant Policy Project provides research and analysis on a range of policy issues, including access to health care.

National Council of La Raza
The National Council of La Raza works to reduce poverty and discrimination and improve life opportunities for Hispanic Americans.  NCLR’s Institute for Hispanic Health works to alleviate conditions that disproportionately affect Latinos.

National Health Law Program
The National Health Law Program is a national public interest law firm that seeks to improve health care for America's working and unemployed poor, minorities, the elderly and people with disabilities.  NHeLP publishes articles for policy development and analyzes legislation in topics such as immigrant health and cultural and linguistic access to health care.


National Immigration Forum
The Forum is an advocacy organization with a mission to advocate for the value of immigrants and immigration to the United States.  The Forum provides analysis and information to key audiences that are involved in shaping immigration policies and regulations. 


National Immigration Law Center
The National Immigration Law Center develops in-depth analyses of proposed legislative and regulatory changes, disseminates timely updates and alerts, convenes on-going workgroups of national advocacy organizations and community agencies, and coordinates strategic responses to policy changes.

The New York University School of Medicine'sCenter for Immigrant Health
The New York University School of Medicine's Center for Immigrant Health facilitates the delivery of linguistically, culturally, and epidemiologically sensitive healthcare services to newcomer populations through research, outreach and education, information dissemination, and program and policy development.

Office of Minority Health
The Federal Office of Minority Health has a mission to improve the health of racial and ethnic populations through the development of effective health policies and programs that help to eliminate disparities in health.

Pew Hispanic Center
The Pew Hispanic Center is a nonpartisan research organization focused on improving understanding of the U.S. Hispanic population and chronicling Latinos’ growing impact on the entire nation.  It is sponsored by The Pew Charitable Trusts, a Philadelphia-based organization that grants funds for research and provides information, policy solutions, and support for civic life.

South Asian Health Initiative The South Asian Health Initiative (SAHI) was founded in June 2004 by New York University School of Medicine's Center for Immigrant Health and Center for the Study of Asian American Health.  SAHI facilitates the delivery of linguistically, culturally, and epidemiologically sensitive healthcare services to South Asian communities.

Southeast Asia Resource Action Center
The Southeast Asia Resource Action Center serves as a national clearinghouse for information on Indochinese refugees, as well as a technical assistance center for the Southeast Asian American community.

Summit Health Institute for Research and Education
The Summit Health Institute for Research and Education is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of health and wellness for all people, especially underserved populations such as ethnic minorities.

UCLA Center for Health Policy Research
The UCLA Center for Health Policy Research conducts research, provides public services, and education to understand and advance public policies that can improve access to health care and the health status of every population in California.

Urban Institute
The Urban Institute provides data analysis on major health policy topics, particularly insurance coverage, costs and spending, immigrants, health care reform, Medicaid policy, welfare policy, long-term care, aging, and disabilities.

The White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders
The White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders coordinates the activities of the President's Advisory Commission and the Interagency Working Group, focusing on social justice issues, such as health care coverage, that affect Asian American and Pacific Islander immigrants and citizens in the United States.
